Hello all!

Sorry about the long hiatus! I was planning on getting this going before school started, but that didn’t happen, so now we’re in plan B. However the good news is, I finally have a date!

On Friday, October 1, we will have a “mandatory” training seminar. Mr. Woodcock will be there to share with us his knowledge acquired from many years of doing this very same thing! The reason I say “mandatory” in because I highly encourage everyone to come. It will be very beneficial information that will help us to be more organized and efficient. However, if you have a previous commitment that you cannot get out of (and it is important enough to make you miss this), I understand, and will not prevent you from helping us spread God’s Word.

It is my goal that this will turn into a full on evangelism ministry based in Wylie, but we are starting out small. I do not expect everyone to come to every meeting; obviously, you all have school and/or job commitments. However I do expect everyone to make a conscience effort to come as often as possible, because I believe this is one of the most important things we will do on this earth! WE’RE SAVING LIVES PEOPLE!!! Saturday, October 16, will be the date of our very first outreach, in downtown Wylie. More information will follow.

In preparation for that I would like everyone to read the book, The One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven, by Mark Cahill. It is an AMAZING book, and completely relevant to what we will be doing. If you have to book, or want to buy it, great! Otherwise, here is the online version: http://www.pinpointevangelism.com/MarkCahill-OneThing.pdf Please read as much of it as you can, If you don't read the whole book, that's fine, but at least read a chapter!

DON'T FORGET!!! 7pm, on Friday, October 1, at Wylie Bible Church. BE THERE!! =)

Hey Guys!

I have been wanting to do some youth evangelism with our church for a long time, but when no one did anything about starting up a group, I decided I would! So, I'm organizing a team of teens to go hand out gospel tracks and share the good news in malls and public places around town!

Last year I went on a mission trip to Galveston. One of the things we did was hand out tracks in the town square on Friday night. It was a lot of fun, and that's where I got the idea!! =] I've already cleared it with Pastor and the elders, but now I need people!

It is one of our Christian duties to go tell others about Christ. In Matthew 28, Jesus says "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;" this applies to teenagers too. Those of you who feel intimidated to evangelize, I know, I'm one of them. But that shouldn't stop us, right after His command to spread the gospel Jesus says: "I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

So what do you say people??!!!! If God is with us, NO ONE can stand against us!!! Tiffany Head did the math, and figured out that: If one Christian shared the gospel with one person each day and each of the people reached did the same starting the next day, the whole world will have heard the gospel in 33 days! And if every christian who is serious about their faith shared the gospel to one person every day, then those they reached shared the gospel every day, the whole world would hear the gospel in 4 days! Can you believe that?!?!?! What are we waiting for? Let's get out there and do this!!!

1 Timothy 4:12 says: "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." Are you guys excited about this yet? 'Cause I am! Just email or Facebook me to tell me what you are thinking about this (you can also call, 972-442-3031). I can't do this on my own, I NEED MORE PEOPLE!!!
